Irish Crochet Flower Chart by Rose
I’m always on the lookout for new motifs to use in Irish Crochet and this one caught my eye because it’s a little like Venetian Crochet in design. Anyway, I was happy to discover the chart created by Rose, at:
If you have time, please visit her website, it’s full of lovely ideas and patterns from a talented source. I especially love her crochet necklaces. She adds pearls and gemstone beads; they’re lovely!
For this motif, I veered off chart to create a small motif measuring 3 1/2″ in diameter using a padded center, 12 petals instead of 6 and clones knot around the perimeter. As always, experiment.
