Pearl Doily
by Ann Reillet © 2018

A pearl; something hidden within. Here, a flower within a flower. It’s a component technique commencing with a sunflower encircled by a popcorn border surrounded in a trellis of Irish netting edged with stacked shells followed by window flowers; a sort of Coming Home.

The doily measures 10 in. and could be used as is or for a purse or pillow front. I’m including corner motifs for squaring the finished doily in the written pattern above if you want to continue or make something larger.
